Fondazione Acqua dell'Elba

Since 2022, the CEO of Societing Management, Norman Larocca, has directed the Fondazione Acqua dell’Elba, coordinating over twenty projects in five areas – environment, education, culture, social impact and the arts.

All the Foundation’s initiatives stem from a deep ethical vocation and from the conviction that companies have a responsibility to contribute to the well-being of their territory. Many of these projects are inspired by the sea — its beauty, its fragility, and the opportunities it offers to coastal and island communities. In a win-win logic, this commitment also generates value for the Acqua dell’Elba brand, reinforcing its authenticity and connection to its origins.

Among these, in addition to SEIF, four stand out for their impact and symbolic value:

The “Via dell’Essenza”

The project for an 86.5 km path along Elba’s western coast, already existing but reoriented to increase its impact on both the territory and the brand. In collaboration with the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, eight stages were made accessible to the public, turning the route into a sensory experience that connects the scents of the Mediterranean landscape with those inspiring Acqua dell’Elba perfumes. A concrete example of how a good project can be enhanced and become a valuable territorial and brand asset.

Project works with schools

Educational initiatives on sensitive issues — from gender equality and female empowerment to financial literacy, artificial intelligence and fake news.

Each year, these projects continue within the company through moments of internal exchange and the donation of themed books to the corporate library, strengthening cohesion and internal communication.

European Blue Schools

The Foundation’s commitment to bringing the “Blue Schools” programme of the European Commission first to Elba, then to the entire Tuscan Archipelago, and in the coming years to other Italian islands. A project carried out with conviction to educate new generations to respect, protect and enhance the sea.

Premio Arte Acqua dell’Elba

Created in 2016 in partnership with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera - Milano  (Brera Academy of Fine Arts), the award promotes emerging artists who interpret the values of Acqua dell’Elba and the many meanings of the sea. Since 2022, under the management of the Fondazione Acqua dell'Elba, the annual theme has been aligned with SEIF, bringing environmental, social and cultural issues related to the sea to the public through contemporary art.

Together, these projects exemplify how the Societing Method turns cultural and social initiatives into shared value for both the community and the brand.
